Parish Deacon

I have lived in the Peoria area all of my life. I got married in May of 1987. My wife, Michelle, and I have four adult children and three grandchildren. I retired from the Peoria Fire Department in 2016 after 29 years of service. While I thought I would have some free time on my hands, God decided that he wanted me to become a deacon. After 5 and a half years of discernment, I was ordained in December of 2022. While becoming a deacon was never something I would have thought about, it has been a wonderful opportunity to serve our Lord and I look forward to seeing what else God has planned for me.
