Fr. Miller was born on May 12, 1959, in Harvey, Illinois and ordained to the priesthood on May 12, 1984. In 1991, he assumed the position of Rector at Rosmini House, where he also served as Novice Master. In this capacity, he guided and nurtured the formation of novices, preparing them for their own paths in the priesthood. In 2001, Fr. Miller's leadership and wisdom were recognized when he was appointed as the Provincial Superior.

His journey led him to serve as an Administrator for Corpus Christi and St. Patrick in Galesburg, as well as Sacred Heart in Abingdon, in 2002. By 2004, Fr. Miller had assumed the role of Pastor for Corpus Christi, St. Patrick, and Sacred Heart. In 2018, Fr. Miller's pastoral duties expanded to include the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Galesburg. Since 2020, Fr. Miller has served as Rector, St. Mary’s Cathedral, Peoria, and pastor, Sacred Heart and St. Bernard.
