Monsignor Stanley Deptula
Born in Belleville, New Jersey 4/15/1970 and raised in Florida, Msgr. Stanley Deptula was ordained a priest of the Catholic Diocese of Peoria on May 25, 1996. He served in parishes in Moline, Wenona, Lostant and Minonk. He also served as the assistant director of the Newman Foundation of the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. From 2004 to 2008 he served as Chaplain and Director of the St. Joseph Newman Center at Bradley University in Peoria, IL. Bishop Daniel Jenky, C.S.C. appointed Msgr. Deptula as the Executive Director for the Archbishop Fulton John Sheen Foundation in April of 2006. In 2009 he was made Chaplain to His Holiness (Monsignor). He continues to serve as a Vice-Chancellor and Director of Divine Worship for the Catholic Diocese of Peoria, as well as Rector of the Cathedral, Pastor of St. Bernard, Sacred Heart, and St. Joseph churches in Peoria, IL.
